View On GoogleDental Implants Can Be Accessible to Everyone
You already know that dental implants are unmatched by other forms of tooth replacement in terms of stability, durability, and aesthetic appeal. For this reason, implants are very popular among dental patients who wish to replace one or more missing natural teeth. However, some people hesitate during the decision-making process due to concerns about the cost of dental implants.
Implant dentist Dr. Jose Valenzuela, Jr. in Los Algodones, Mexico, believes that implant dentistry should be accessible to everyone, regardless of budget. Please contact our dental practice, located a little over an hour's drive from Mexicali and just across the border from Yuma, AZ, to request a consultation regarding implant costs and traveling to Mexico for implant placement. Our Los Algodones dental clinic staff is happy to answer any questions you may have.
The cost of dental work will depend upon the type of implant you receive, the form of sedation administered, and the number of implants placed.
Financing Can Make Dental Implant Costs More Affordable
Dental implants can still require a significant financial investment, even though our Los Algodones dental procedure prices are thousands of dollars less than average costs in the United States. That is why we offer low-interest monthly financing through various third-party lenders. They can create payment plans based on your budget to make out-of-pocket costs more manageable.
This is important because dental insurance rarely covers dental implant surgery. However, dental insurance may cover a portion of your restorations, lowering your dental treatment cost.
What Affects the Price of Dental Implants?
Number of Implants
Your final cost can be affected by how many missing natural teeth are being replaced and the number of implants you need. One implant to replace a single missing tooth will cost less than the four (or more) implants needed to replace a full arch of teeth.
Type of Restoration
Dr. Valenzuela offers many different implant-supported restorations, from high-quality porcelain and zirconia crowns to implant-supported dentures. He also designs and attaches customized bridges. Each restoration and the materials, such as porcelain or zirconia crowns, carry their own price range.
Additional Dental Treatments
Dr. Venezuela may need to perform a bone graft or sinus lift before you can receive implants. Bone grafts help strengthen jawbone tissue weakened by missing teeth. A sinus lift raises your sinuses up to reveal enough healthy jawbone to support implants. These procedures add to the total cost.
Extraction Costs
Decay can damage a tooth so badly that it has to be extracted to make room for a dental implant and restoration. The same can be true for a tooth with a severe root canal infection. If treatments such as root canal therapy can't save a tooth, our dentist may need to extract it for an extra charge before implant surgery.
Implant Surgery Location
In comparison to other areas of your mouth, there is an extra degree of difficulty placing implants to replace missing front teeth. Front teeth are thinner and more exposed than other teeth. This can affect the cost of your surgery at our Los Algodones office.
Sedation Dentistry
If you are anxious about undergoing dental work or have difficulty sitting still for long periods, we offer calming sedation. Although it costs extra, when combined with numbing anesthetic, sedation can provide you with a relaxed, pain-free experience.
Different Procedures Have Different Costs
Our dentist places both standard implant-supported dentures and All-on-4® implants. Implant-supported dentures typically require several implants. If you have jawbone loss due to missing teeth, the All-on-4 procedure can replace a full arch of teeth using only four titanium posts.
Implant Parts
Implants consist of a titanium post and a connector piece called an abutment. Eventually, your customized restoration will be attached to the abutment. Some implants do not include the cost of the abutment. Contact our Los Algodones practice – about an hour from Mexicali – to find out more.
"Thanks to them, I can smile with confidence again." We Help Patients Love Their Smiles
Dr Valenzuela and his staff are one of the most professional teams I had the pleasure working with. I’m not the best dental patient, nervous and jumpy normally. The staff took there time and help me feel comfortable. I would give them 5 star service. Thanks to them I can smile with confidence again.

It was fun going back to the Molar town and seeing him and seeing how much his practice has grown and how even more modernized and professional it has become, more so than the local Dentists in the US

Are Dental Implants Really Worth the Investment?
Absolutely. It is true that the price of implant dental work is often higher than other dental treatment options. But it is important to consider the benefits of dental implants.
Comparatively speaking, implants are stronger, more natural-looking, and longer-lasting (with proper oral hygiene) than other tooth restoration methods. Dental implants restore your ability to speak, chew, laugh, and smile normally—and are therefore a priceless investment.
Many of Dr. Valenzuela's patients are tired of wearing removable dentures that fit poorly, are held in place by messy denture adhesive, and can fall out when they eat. Dentures attached to implants stay put, giving you a stronger bite and more confidence in your smile.
Implants Are the Only Way to Prevent Jawbone Loss
Within just a few months of losing a tooth, X-rays can already begin to detect jawbone recession in the area. A deteriorating jawbone can invite a host of other issues, including changes to your facial appearance, shifting teeth, and even additional tooth loss. Dental implants are the only tooth replacement option that can halt and prevent this process.
While removable restorations can improve your ability to eat and speak, they sit atop the gums and don't interact with your underlying facial structures. Dental implants are surgically embedded into the jaw to replace the roots of the teeth, which stimulate your jaw every time you bite down. Undergoing the dental implant procedure is well worth it for the comprehensive oral health benefits.
What You Get When You Work With Our Team Incredible Service at Incredible Prices
A Prestigious Dentist
Dr. Valenzuela is affiliated with a number of well-known American and international dental organizations. In nearly two decades of practice, he has earned membership to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the American Dental Association. These affiliations give him access to training courses in the latest developments in the field and a network of some of the most skilled dental professionals in the world.
The Latest Technology
All of our dental work is performed with the most up-to-date tools in the field. Many dentists in the United States can't claim to provide the level of advanced dental care that we do. At our Los Algodones practice, you can enjoy amenities like fully digital X-rays, computer-assisted surgical guides for ultra-precise implant placement, and the Plasma Rich in Growth Factors (PRGF) System®, a modern surgical technique that encourages better and faster healing.
Virtual Consultations
Many dental practices will make you travel to them for a consultation, but if you're an American or Canadian patient seeking dental care in Mexico, this can be incredibly inconvenient. A consultation over the phone isn't much better, as it's so much harder to build a trusting relationship with your dentist without being able to look them in the eye. We want to get to know you while respecting your busy schedule, so we offer virtual consultations. You can speak one-on-one with Dr. Valenzuela when it works best for you.
