Advanced Technology Improves All-on-4 Patients' Safety and Comfort
At Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry Center in Los Algodones, Mexico, we have a range of state-of-the-art technologies that allow us to customize your treatment in the office. We use computed tomography (CT) scans to carefully map out your treatment, as well as intraoral scans and smile design software to design your restoration. Our dentists can also print a surgical guide on our in-office 3D printer to ensure the precise placement of each of the four implants.
In addition, we use advanced techniques, such as platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) and plasma rich in growth factors (PRGF), to speed the healing process after bone grafting and implant placement.
Hear From Our All-on-4 Dental Implant Patients in Los Algodones
My husband and I had our first visit at the end of April. They took an impressive amount of scans & measurements. My husband had all his teeth pulled (13) and 8 implants put in. He had a great team that was caring and professional. They were amazing!
My husband and I trust them fully with our dental care.
We'll be going back in October to finish the rest of the work that was started.
My mother and I had a great experience at Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry Center. My mother had oral surgery, requiring multiple implants. Everything went seamlessly and the both of us felt very comfortable with the team. My mother has been long overdue for this procedure, and seeing her with beautiful teeth in her mouth was an overwhelmingly emotional experience in the best way. I highly recommend this place for any dental needs. Would give more stars if I could.

A Patient Shares Her Story Our Office in Mexico Puts Your Needs First
"Dr. Valenzuela and his staff are one of the most professional teams I had the pleasure of working with. I’m not the best dental patient, nervous and jumpy normally. The staff took their time and help me feel comfortable. I would give them 5 stars for service. Thanks to them, I can smile with confidence again." Kathy Compton
The Cost of All-on-4 Factors That Affect Pricing
Replacing all the teeth in your upper or lower jaw can become expensive. While traditional dentures are less expensive than implant-supported restorations, they typically require more maintenance costs over the long term. In general, All-on-4 implants are a cost-effective option for permanently restoring a full arch of teeth.
There are several factors that can affect the final cost of your treatment, including:
Preparatory Procedures
Bone grafts, extractions, or other preparatory treatments can raise your final cost.
Restoration Type
The materials used to make your restoration will affect the final price of treatment at our Los Algodones practice.
Sedation
While sedation will make treatment more comfortable, it does add to your total bill.
Advanced Techniques
Using advanced treatments, such as PGRF, can speed healing but also raise cost.

All-on-4 Recovery FAQ
What Side Effects Should I Expect?
If you were put under IV sedation, you may feel groggy in the hours after your surgery. Bleeding typically stops within a day, and can be reduced by biting on a piece of gauze. Discomfort is common after any type of surgery, and usually subsides within a week. Swelling is also expected after surgery, and may last for a week or two.
How Can I Reduce Pain after Surgery?
Pain is one of our patients' biggest concerns during and after surgery. That is why we use local anesthesia and sedation to keep you comfortable during the dental implant procedure. Before the effects of these sedatives wear off, patients should take pain medication to reduce discomfort after surgery. Taking pain medication on schedule for a few days after surgery is the best way to minimize discomfort. In addition, patients can change the way they eat for a few days.
What Foods Can I Eat after Surgery?
To reduce discomfort, we recommend that patients consume liquids or soft foods while healing. Some options include smoothies, soups, noodles, cooked cereals, yogurt, soft potatoes, and more. Plan meals and snacks ahead of time so you can feel satisfied after eating without experiencing any discomfort during the healing process. In most cases, patients should eat a diet of soft foods for up to one week after the dental implants are surgically placed.
How Long Do All-on-4 Implants Last?
With proper oral and periodontal care, the All-on-4 implants themselves can last a lifetime. Your dentures, on the other hand, may need to be replaced every 10 to 15 years if you properly care for them. While the high-quality materials we use to craft dentures are durable and resistant to stains and damage, they eventually begin to wear. In addition, the shape of the dental arch may change with time. That is why we will periodically recommend denture replacement to improve the appearance and fit of the prosthesis.
How Do I Care for My Implants and Dentures?
Although you no longer have any natural teeth after All-on-4 treatment, thereby preventing tooth decay from ever forming, the gums and underlying bone structures are still susceptible to dental damage. It is important to keep the gums and adjacent dentures as clean as possible. Clean your mouth at least twice a day with denture-approved toothpaste and a soft-bristled manual or electric toothbrush, in addition to other special tools. Proxy brushers, floss threaders, and Waterpiks can reach between the dentures and dental implants to thoroughly clean these areas and keep them free of harmful dental bacteria.

Alternative Treatments
Traditional Dental Implants
Traditional dental implants are, in many cases, considered the best possible treatment option. In addition to full arch replacement, traditional dental implants can be used to replace a single tooth or multiple missing teeth. If a patient does not have sufficient jawbone density, a bone graft or sinus lift procedure will often be required to ensure the success of dental implant treatment.
Traditional Dentures
Our dentists in Los Algodones, Mexico, also offer custom-made traditional dentures to improve your dental function and appearance. Improved materials and fabrication processes have enabled us to craft dentures that look and feel natural, improving your ability to speak, chew, and smile. This affordable option means minimal preparatory dental work and avoids the need for a surgical procedure.
